Daniela is a 2018 graduate from the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University. She completed her senior year at The Hamilton Midwives, and has really enjoyed continuing to work in the Hamilton community where she was born and raised. Prior to joining the program, Daniela earned her Bachelors in Social Sciences, with special interest in Medical Anthropology from McMaster University. After graduating, she moved to England for three years, where she graduated with a Masters of Science from the University of Bristol. 
 
Daniela is passionate about advocacy and choice in pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. She is dedicated to ensuring that choice and autonomy are possible for all, including for those in underserved populations within the community. In her spare time, you can often find Daniela in the kitchen using her partner as a guinea pig for new recipes; traveling as much as possible; getting cozy with a good book; and, spending far too long cuddling and chatting with pets met on the street or during home visits. She loves pugs!
